At Luna Acrobatics and Aerial Arts, we want to empower adults and children of all abilities, to explore their individuality and creativity through the circus arts in a safe, inclusive, fun environment.

Our Values

Our friendly team of experienced coaches bring you classes in the circus aerial and acrobatic arts including trapeze, silks, aerial hoop, sling, pole, acrobatics and more.

The aerial arts and acrobatics are great for working on fitness, building strength and improving flexibility. There is no expected level of strength, flexibility or fitness to be able to start.

Junior students follow a syllabus created by the founder and head coach of Luna, Fenella to build their strength, increase their confidence with the apparatus and achieve some incredible tricks.

Anecdotally aerial arts and acrobatics improve body positivity, build self-confidence, help with anxiety and boost well-being. There have also been studies to show this: The art of the circus: Cartwheeling kids to better mental health and The psychological benefits of circus skills training (CST) in schoolchildren

In addition to classes at the studio in Fareham, we can bring the thrill of the circus to you. With portable rigs we can run aerial circus workshops for your event including birthday parties and corporate events. Our performance troupe can also perform at your event as well.

Meet the founder of Luna Acrobatics and Aerial Arts - Fenella Carcary

Having fallen in love with the aerial arts in 2014, Fenella quit her career as a pharmacist to set up Luna Acrobatics and Aerial Arts in 2018.

Her passion for teaching saw her circus school grow from her teaching two classes a week in a snooker club, to creating a purpose built studio in Fareham with classes seven days a week. Fenella now employs a team of coaches with expertise in a variety of circus disciplines.

With no governing body or standardised syllabus, Fenella has developed a junior circus programme for children, with levels for children to work through and achieve at a pace that suits them.

Fenella and her team have coached many students, both adults and children, to great success at regional, national and international competitions.
